The New Mexico Farmers' Marketing Association has a job opening for a GoodFoodNM Coordinator! 

This is a full-time position that includes health insurance and a generous vacation package.

The GoodFoodNM Coordinator is a key member of the NMFMA’s team. A core part of the job is highly administrative in nature, but it also involves creative thinking, problem solving, and fieldwork in communities across the state.

The ideal candidate will:

  • be bilingual and enjoy utilizing technology tools for outreach;
  • enjoy managing a large communications project and supporting other communications work;
  • excel at connecting with and educating community groups;
  • be detail-oriented and have strong writing and editing skills;
  • enjoy working with a diverse group of external partners, providing key internal support, and working within a vibrant non-profit environment

Renewal and Insurance Information

  • Renewal notices for farmer and rancher members will be sent one month before the renewal date.
  • Renewal invoices for farmers' markets and farm stands have been sent, and are due April 1st.  
  • Insurance information for farmers' market members will be sent April 1st and is due May 1st.

LIFE Grant Applications Due March 15

Local Farmer Innovation Enterprise (LIFE) Grant applications are due March 15th!

Grants of up to $3,000 each are available for farmers wishing to solve problems, test innovations, or mitigate risk! 

Grant applications must meet one of these two purposes:

1. To expand specialty crop varieties and/or crop volume sold through New Mexico retail outlets;
2. To pilot or expand regenerative agriculture practices.
