November 1, 2024:
Market Data is due Dec. 31 and is MANDATORY for NMFMA members under the Farmers' Markets, Mobile Markets, CSAs, and Farm Stand categories.
The Market Data surveys are available on the Market Data page.
You can submit the Market Data survey online or print, fill out, and mail it to us. Contact Andrea Warner, Market Manager Liaison with any questions about Market Data.

Upcoming 2025 Online Food Safety Training Sessions Now Open for Registration
As we close out 2024, we plan to bring many opportunities for food growers and producers to take our free Food Safety Training courses (Tier 1 & 2).
These online trainings are designed for small to medium-sized producers in New Mexico, aligning with FSMA guidelines. Your registration signs you up for both Tier 1 and 2 (held on two separate dates). Tier 1 covers basic food safety hazards and mitigation practices, while Tier 2 delves into Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), including creating a Farm Risk Assessment. By the end, producers can improve food safety and qualify as approved suppliers for the NM Grown Program.
Our first classes of 2025 classes will be held on:
- January 23 and 28
- February 4 and 11
- February 18 and 25
- March 4 and 11
Space is limited to fifteen students, and interested parties are encouraged to register soon secure their spot. See you in class!
New Mexico Grown Coalition Website Launches
We're excited to announce that the New Mexico Grown website is LIVE!
New Mexico Grown is a program that works with local farmers, ranchers, and food businesses to connect them to people in our state. When local food producers can sell their fruits, vegetables, and meat to preschools, K-12 schools, senior centers, and food banks, it helps communities stay healthy and self-reliant.
The New Mexico Grown Coalition is a network of public institutions, community-based organizations, and individuals working together to strengthen community food systems (production, access, and education) across the state.
